A Manifest in Sound

 

It all started with a poem.

Actually… with many poems.

 

Some were playful, written for children – stories in verse with light in them. Others went deeper. They weren’t born from play, but as a manifest. Written in those moments when life said something I couldn’t leave unanswered. So I answered. In verse. In broken silence.

 

My name is Andrei. I’ve been writing for a long time. For myself. For others. For anyone with ears to listen and a heart to feel.

 

For years, it never even crossed my mind that my poetry might be missing something – let alone that I could be the one to create that missing piece.

 

I didn’t know how to write musical notes, so I wrote words. Instead of music sheet, I let the lines suggest tempo, tension, harmony, sonic density, emotional dynamics. I let the images in the poem become rhythm, the pauses between verses dictate the breath of the musical phrase, and the tone of each word hint at vocal timbre, instrumental color, the texture of the composition.

 

That’s how these projects were born – first as Aedros, now also as Soulsmith Revival.

Alter egos. Flames turned into sound.

 

Artificial intelligence became my ally and my instrument. With it, I could translate poetry into music without stripping away its meaning.

 

Each song begins as a poem, but it doesn’t stop there. Every verse is treated like a stage direction for an unseen orchestra. Metaphors stand in for chords. Emotions become the metronome. Anger, longing, and clarity turn into different sections of sound.

 

This music is my manifest.

A poem that refuses to stay silent.

A dream that refuses to be forgotten.
